Style and Functionality
The car features dynamic lines, balanced proportions and distinctive features such as the front grille and headlights in the shape of an arrow. The fog lights are also unmistakable. In addition to their utility functions, they play a key design role. As a badge of honour, the Škoda name is proudly emblazoned on the 5th door.
Advanced technology is made beautiful in the light design of the Octavia. The car features full LED Matrix headlights, which offer greater road lighting and a higher degree of safety.
Octavia is equipped with the unique Crystal design lighting system, combining an innovative solution; matrix technology. The benefit, optimal visibility no matter the environment.
The full LED rear lights are fitted with dynamic turn indicators, which not only reveal where the driver is about to turn, but also add dynamism to the car.

Wireless charging/USB
The Octavia comes with an enlarged phone box which wirelessly charges your phone while driving. This compartment is not only easily accessible, but is also suitable for large display devices. Two USB-C ports located in the centre console allow you to connect your external devices without the need for dongles or adapters

Simply Clever solutions make your life easier. Whether it’s practical storage compartments or an ingenious towbar (available as a standalone option at extra cost), these thoughtful features take the headache out of travelling.
Sunglasses compartment
This practical compartment located above the interior rear-view mirror is within the driver’s and front passenger’s reach. (Not available in combination with panoramic sunroof.)
Umbrella storage compartment
An ingenious compartment integrated into the driver’s door is designed to let water, retained from wet umbrella’s, to drain away from the car. An original complimentary ŠKODA umbrella is also provided.
Jumbo box and drink holders
Small electronic devices can be safely stored in the Jumbo box in the front armrest. For your drinks, there are cup holders with an integrated easy-open function, conveniently located in the centre console.
Cargo elements
To avoid any undesired movement of luggage while driving, these two plastic cargo elements with a Velcro fastener are ideal. They can be stowed away in the compartments behind the rear wheel arches when not in use.
High-Tech, High Comfort
Sometimes it’s good to let yourself be spoiled. While driving, for example. Plenty of thoughtful technologies and smart features are here at your command, ready to maximise your comfort and driving pleasure. Just put your foot down.
Attractive design is accompanied by perfect functionality. The multimedia 10" display enables touch slider operation, where you don’t need to touch the screen while adjusting the volume or zooming the navigation. Below the display, it also provides an ergonomic wrist rest when operating the screen.
Power tailgate and virtual pedal
The 5th door opens and closes at the mere touch of the button on the convenience key, driver's door panel or directly on the 5th door. You can also adjust the upper door position to your preferred height. For added convenience, the virtual pedal function allows for contact-free access to the luggage compartment.
Multimedia 10" Display
Attractive design is accompanied by perfect functionality. The multimedia 10" display includes a touch slider, situated below the display, removing the need to touch the screen when performing actions such as adjusting the volume or zooming in or out of maps whilst navigating.
Columbus Infotainment with Satellite Navigation
The top-class Columbus infotainment system with in-built satellite navigation incorporating 3D maps, displays all turn-by-turn directions in stunning clarity on both the multimedia 10” display and 10.25” virtual cockpit. The systems enhanced voice control function can assist with queries on a wide variety of topics and also follows commands. For example, it will start navigation to a desired destination or even take dictation for an SMS.
Ambient lighting
Experience ultimate comfort thanks to the LED ambient lights in the Octavia. This feature enables users to define any available colour to illuminate the dashboard, front door panels, and in a new development the front and rear footwells. Different colours can be selected for the upper (the dashboard and front door panels) and lower (the front and rear footwells) sections of the cabin.
Convenience Key
With the convenience key, you can lock/unlock your car and start or stop the engine without the need of physically touching your key. Now that is convenience.
Multimedia Holder
The multimedia holder in the Octavia, fixed to the back of the front seat head rests, enables you to securely place a tablet or any other compatible device, for convenient hands free use and hassle free in-car entertainment.
Head-up Display
The head-up display projects key driving data directly onto the front windshield, within the driver’s line of sight to significantly reduce the possibility of distraction. (Available in optional Tech pack as well as Tech & Luxury pack on Style and Premium pack on RS at extra cost.)
10.25" Virtual Cockpit
All that important information that used to be displayed on your dashboard gauges, is now brought to life in a dynamic digital display. Driving data displayed includes speed and fuel readouts – along with more contemporary features, like driver assist and navigation tools.
Shift-by-wire
As the first recipient of the Škoda brand, the Octavia receives “by wire” technology, designed for maximum comfort in vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. The shift-by-wire operates via the shift lever in a minimalist design integrated in the centre console.
Electro-mechanical parking brake (EPB)
The Octavia is fitted with an Electro-mechanical Parking Brake (EPB), replacing the conventional mechanical hand brake. EPB is manually activated/deactivated via a switch located below the shift-by-wire lever in the centre console.
Auto hold function not available on Style, standard on RS.
Luggage Compartment
The Octavia's boot is a unique mixture of large compacity with clever practicality. You can find many smart features inside the Octavia's boot, which will help you load all your stuff, keep the car tidy and prevent things from moving around.
Boot capacity
As always the luggage compartment is generous. The sedan version offers 600 litres of storage, which can be extended up to 1,555 litres by folding down the rear seats. Meanwhile the wagon version offers 640 litres and 1,700 litres after folding down the rear seats.
Luggage hooks
You'll be hooked as soon as you use them. Whether its a trip to the shops or a trip away, these handy hooks are great for neatly hanging bags and creating more space.
Net System
One horizontal and two vertical nets increase the flexibility of the luggage space while firmly securing objects and loose items.
Double-sided luggage mat
A multi-purpose protective layer for the luggage space, choose from the elegant fabric side up for everyday use or easily switch over to the washable rubber side when transporting items likely to cause a mess.

Lane assist with adaptive lane guidance*
Operating at speeds above 60km/h, Lane Assist with Adaptive Lane Guidance can help to keep the Octavia centred within the lane in which it is travelling.
Available in optional Luxury pack as well as Tech & Luxury pack on Style at extra cost.
Emergency assist*
Emergency Assist reduces the risk of an incident in the event of the driver’s sudden health collapse, for example, by safely stopping the car and turning on the warning lights.

Side assist - blind spot detection*
Using radar sensors in the rear bumper, Side Assist monitors the area beside and behind your car to detect other vehicles and cyclists up to 70m away. Upon entry of the detection zone, the system provides a visual alert to warn the driver of a potentially
hazardous situation.
Front assist - predictive pedestrain/cyclist*
The front assist system, using a radar device situated in the front grille, is designed to monitor the distance of the Octavia to vehicles ahead. If the system detects sudden braking by the preceding vehicle it reacts, applying the emergency braking mechanism. The system, depending on travelling speed, can also detect pedestrians and cyclists.
Real traffic alert*
Utilising the same rear bumper integrated sensors of the Side Assist system, the Rear Traffic Alert function helps you reverse safely from parking spaces with poor visibility by scanning for objects approaching the rear. Upon detection, an acoustic alert is issued, and if required to avoid collision, the brakes applied thanks to the Manoeuvre Braking Assist feature.

Matrix beam function
The full LED Matrix headlights of Octavia feature the matrix beam function, permitting continuous high beam use without dazzling other drivers. Utilising the windshield camera, the matrix beam function reacts to the environment, turning off light modules that affect the visibility of other drivers whilst leaving on modules that do not to provide maximum road visibility.
Crew protect assist
This assistance system provides increased protection for front-row passengers in critical situations that potentially result in a collision or rollover by automatically initiating the closure of the side windows to leave a 5cm gap, full closure of the panoramic glass sunroof (if equipped), and tightening of seatbelts.
Not available on Style.
Multi-collision brake
In the event of an accident, the Multi-Collision Brake, automatically applies braking to prevent further uncontrolled movement of the vehicle, thus reducing the likelihood of further collisions.
Safe Happens
In extreme situations, where the driver cannot actively influence the outcome, the car’s passive safety elements take over – like the airbags.
Driver, front passenger and centre airbag
While the driver airbag is enclosed in the steering wheel, the passenger airbag is located in the dashboard. An additional central airbag fitted within the inner side of the driver's backrest, is designed to protect the driver and front passenger from colliding, especially in the event of a side collision.
Side curtain airbags
Upon activation, side curtain airbags create a wall protecting the front and rear occupants against head injury.
Front side airbags
These two airbags protect the pelvis and chest of the driver and passenger in the event of a side collision.
Knee airgbag
This airbag, which is located under the steering wheel column, protects the driver’s knees and shins.
Power To The People
Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC0 including Drive Mode Selection
Enjoy the performance of your car in maximum comfort and safety. The Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) continuously evaluates and responds to various driving behaviour (braking, acceleration, turning), adapting the dampers and steering characteristics to retain the drive mode selected by the driver. The drive mode selection, accessed via the infotainment menu, allows you to select one of five modes according to your specific requirements: Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport or Individual.

Engines
The Octavia offers 110kW (Ambition and Style) and 180kW (RS) turbocharged petrol engines that guarantee excellent performance and acceleration, complemented by low fuel consumption.
Octavia RS
Bold never goes out of style
Exclusive meets sporty. The Octavia's emotional design sets a daring tone with its RS version, both on the outside and in. Combine the timeless elegance with specific dynamic features supported by the lower chassis and get a car with attitude.
The interior is equipped, among other things, with a multifunctional leather sports steering wheel with RS logo, Virtual Cockpit including Sport view (specific to the RS version), front sports seats, and pedal covers in alloy design The upholstery in black fabric is accompanied by Alcantara® pad with stitching on the dashboard and Carbon décor. Alongside this, the RS has your safety under control with ten air bags as standard.
Exterior design
The Octavia RS features exclusive exterior styling, including unique bumpers and glossy black treatments applied to the side mirror caps, window surrounds, front grille and the frame extending the front fog lights and air intake ducts. The RS badge on the front grille is a nod to the famous racing tradition of Škoda cars. The dynamic appearance of the exterior is enhanced by 19” ALTAIR brushed anthracite alloy wheels and darkened lighting systems, whilst red brake calipers emphasise the sporty character of the vehicle.
Rear view
The distinctive rear bumper with its glossy black decorative treatments, sleek diffuser and exposed dual exhaust pipes are key design attributes for the rear of the RS. Other exclusive features include the glossy black finish to the ŠKODA lettering and badges on the 5th door as well as to the roof rails on wagon variants.
Comfort as your co-pilot
Step into a space where you can truly be yourself. The interior of the Octavia RS is that kind of place. The legendary spaciousness of Škoda cars, premium materials and state-of-the-art technology spiced up with RS elements in the sports style let you experience uncompromised comfort while staying sporty at heart.
Virtual cockpit / led ambient lighting
The stunning Virtual Cockpit displays key vehicle, safety and infotainment information such as turn-by-turn navigation. You can even change the layout (view), via the steering wheel mounted controls, from a selection of five layouts, including the RS exclusive Sport view. Additionally, the colour of the background illumination, determined by the interior ambient lighting offering an amazing range of colour options, can also be changed.
Interior Design
The interior is equipped with sporty elements, among other things, a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel in black perforated leather with the RS plaquette, sports comfort front seats and pedal covers in alloy finish. The upholstery in black fabric is accompanied by the carbon décor and suedia treatments in the dash and doors as well as contrast red stitching. For added effect; the roof lining and pillars are also in black, completing the sports cockpit design.
