Dealer appreciation post ! So in topping up my coolant reservoir today, I stupidly closed the hood without putting the cap back on. Driving down the road I noticed the coolant smell and the a wisp of steam. Cap is nowhere in the engine bay. Topped the reservoir off again and drove the short distance (2km) to Jarvis Skoda on West Terrace. Temp gauge was the most watched thing in the world at that point. Service dept is closed for the day just the sales team left… My plight comes to the attention of Victor who is the dealership manager. Without hesitation he goes and gets a coolant tank cap off a new car and hands it too me. Wouldn’t even take any money for it ! “Don’t worry we’ll get a new one on Monday. Back on the road in under an hour on a Saturday. How good ?

Our Skoda Karoq in for its third service. As always the staff are genuinely friendly, helpful and professional. The service team were fast, and provided information on wear and tare items that might need replacing (wiper blades). Highly recommend.
