Skoda Enyaq RS priced, Elroq RS coming
SKODA has officially confirmed Australian pricing and specification for the new Enyaq RS, with the performance variant of its electric SUV slated for arrival sometime in mid-2026 priced from $75,490 plus on-road costs.
Additionally, it will be joined in the brand’s local stable by the smaller Elroq RS and the Elroq Sportline – the latter replacing the 130 Years Edition – in the third quarter of this year, although full pricing and specifications for both are yet to be officially confirmed.
Like the rest of the Enyaq range, the RS variant will be available in two different body styles, the coupe-SUV adding $1000 to the list price of its SUV sibling (see pricing table below).
When the pre-facelift Enyaq first landed on Australian shores in late-2024, it was offered in Sportline and RS guises, both in coupe-SUV body style.
Compared with the original Enyaq RS – which was priced at $83,990 + ORCs – the equivalent facelifted coupe model is some $7500 cheaper.
The RS grade gains dual-motor all-wheel drive, resulting in a 40kW increase over the Sportline 85 variant to 250kW, although torque remains the same at 545Nm.
Skoda says this is good for a 0-100km/h dash of 5.4 seconds, an improvement of 1.3 over the Sportline model.
Electricity is sourced from 84/79kWh (gross/net) capacity lithium-ion battery, resulting in a claimed WLTP driving range of 523km for SUV variant and 534km for the coupe-SUV.
It supports 11kW AC charging and 185kW DC charging, the latter allowing 10-80 per cent charges to be completed in approximately 26 minutes.
Compared with the Sportline 85 and Select 60 variants, the RS receives several visual tweaks, including unique bumpers, side sills, and 21-inch Vision alloy wheels. The Mamba Green hero colour is also exclusive to the RS variant.
Inside, it gets an RS-specific heated steering wheel and seat upholstery, a 13.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless charging, four USB-C ports, a Canton sound system, and ambient LED cabin lighting.
Additionally, both variants come with the dynamic chassis control adaptive suspension system, matrix LED headlights with dynamic light assist as well as LED taillights and daytime running lights, a panoramic sunroof (tilting and sliding in the SUV and fixed in the coupe-SUV), a hands-free tailgate, a remote rear-seat backrest release, a driver’s door umbrella, rear-seat caddy storage, and cargo nets and fasteners in the boot.
Standard safety features include front assist, side assist, turn assist, lane assist with adaptive lane guidance, adaptive cruise control with follow to stop, travel assist, traffic jam assist, emergency assist, front and rear parking sensors with manoeuvre assist, a rear-view camera, and advanced driver fatigue detection.
While GoAuto understands the Enyaq RS will likely arrive around the middle of this year, Skoda is yet to confirm an official Australian release timeline as well as each variant’s national driveaway price.
